That reminds me of something my grandfather told me when my daughter was a baby. He told me to "spoil her rotten and make her mean as hell so that the man that takes her away from you will pay for it."
I think he was joking but I'm not sure.

When I was a kid I'd sing the "Bat Masterson" theme song when it came on and for a long time I thought he wore a cane and dirty hat. My grandfather finally heard me singing it and started laughing and told me what a derby was.

I'm a little suprised that jamespowers wasn't on your list. I thought, from reading some of your other posts that he was sort of like a hero to you.
I saw more drugs and hippies in the 60s than I did in the 70s. The 70s were pretty good here. I don't really hate the 80s, I just like the 60s and 70s more.
I was in Maggie Valley for about two months in 1969. I met several Suttons while I was there and I'm sure he's related to them. lol
