I love this hat i wore nothing but this hat for years
I wore it to death as can be seen in the pic
and my first hat i bought was a newsboy blue with a block M i was 10 at the time.
but i dont think these are wool felt now that i think about it.
still let me say wool dose have its place...
The Mad Bomber is my favorite for subzero but they are hot in anything warmer than freezing.
when its not that cold any nice fedora will do,
if it gets windy or damp ill add a outer coat and turn the collar up.
he sure has a full head of hair in this shot, im glad you asked i need an excuse to post this pic .

thanks for the pic rlk is great to see all the different bashes and or creases in that crowd. Hats as they were worn and for the purpose they were invented, the folks with out lids must have been miserable. Hey is the guy in the bottom of the frame right over the 7381 wearing a ball cap?

Elmer Gantry a movie made in 1960 about a time before that im not sure when with TONS of cool hats fedoras and boaters and my very favorite that i dont know what its official name was but was like a cross between each of them.
they seem to be rare in my size 7 1/4 or 7 3/8 but i wont give up.

hey Jauntyone that's one sweet looking lid and very jaunty with the brim snapped down like that . mostly i like porkies with the brim snapped up but then folks couldn't see that supper sweet welted trim ive never seen one like that, if you cant get used to it give me a pm :-) just kidding sort of.
