How do folks react to your hat wearing?
in the last week I've received two compliments about my hat from two guys and a compliment from a lady liking my hat, and complimenting me for wearing a pocket square! mostly people just ask where am i going,presuming i'm dressed well, as if i'm off to some special event! -
Akubra Bogart in Carbon Grey review
Great review. I have a stylemaster in carbon and moonstone, i prefer moonstone, it goes with nearly everything,the carbon to me is just too dark. -

I own several Akubra's, feds and stylemasters,on advice from the Hattery and everything Australian i bought my usual size, 57. they still fit like a glove! -

Quintessential modern production fedora.
I prefer my advintage Harrison to the fed1v my stylemaster in moonstone has better quality felt than my fed1v! i'm awaiting a Penman everyman non indy in 50/50 beaver rabbit which excluding import taxes is same price as the advintage Harrison. -
I love the Fed IV!!

Penman Hats
I dont understand the British import duty system! if you buy hats from everything Australian or the hattery they seem to fly through customs without being taxed, yet anything bought from the USA is taxed! -

yes dark brown. got to say though i had an advintage harrison (sadly stolen) that in my opinon was a better hat! that said it was almost three times the cost of the fed! -
