Vintage leather bomber jacket

Classic staple jacket that looks great with jeans or chinos. Perfect for fall.
It's a sweet little bomber with a lot of intangibles (one piece back, two piece arms, modest collar, scalloped front flaps with snaps, etc)...
The maker's label was long gone when I got the jacket, though it does retain a small tag indicating size (42) and the fact it was made in the US. I'm guessing it's 50s - 60s.

It looks good in the first two photos, unbuttoned (as others have said). Length is fine for a trucker. The collar only appears high in the photo where you buttoned it; the combination of the jacket being snug in the chest and new (and likely on the stiff side) is probably making it ride like...
Oddly, I cannot find any online info about the maker of this jacket, United Aero-Wear of Minneapolis. Anyone know anything about them? I love the label and it seems an obvious inspiration for the other Aero we know and love.
