Thanks again, Jack. I'll definitely have to keep my eye out for one now.

What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

Thanks for the accoutrement tip, Jack. I don't smoke, but have always admired the various looks of pipes. I'll definitely keep me eye out for a Stanwell H.C. Andersen

Thanks, Stefan. They definitely are becoming somewhat addictive, especially ones as special as these two. Looking forward to posting the newest Topper that's on its way as we speak :)

Ask a question, get an answer

That is a great price for a Lincoln Bennett. I would have easily paid double at least for it. Please post photos of the liner, sweatband, and any labels underneath. Remember too, to post it in the "The Bowler or Derby Hat" thread. Once again, congrats on the buy :)

I agree with Bob. It should more or less pop back into shape without too much difficulty. Lincoln Bennett & Co Bowler - nice catch btw.

    Western, anyone?

Nice score, Mark. It's so intriguing to see other people's garages etc. I'm always thinking, ooh, what's that? That looks interesting :)

    Toppers Unite

Ca. Edwardian Horne Brothers: 15cm crown height. Just under 5cm brim. Horne Brothers had many establishments in London, as can be seen on the liner logo, and around the country. Modern gentlemen's underwear leaves a lot to be desired compared to back in the day :)

    Toppers Unite

Henry & Co, somewhere between the two World Wars, I believe. As hard as I've tried, and despite its prominent address, I haven't found out anything about this Top Hat. Crown height 13cm, with a 5cm brim Unusual to see the size on the sweat of a Top Hat. Especially in English, American...

Not so much mysterious detective work, Nathan. More like academic nurding :)

What hat are you waiting for today?

This Topper has some great looking case candy, so I hope I'm forgiven for buying another one. The liner logo had me hooked straight away. More to come once it arrives.

The third and favourite of today's arrivals: A Horne Brothers, ca. Edwardian era Top Hat. The Henry & Co has a height of 13cm, while the Horne Brothers is 15cm: Both in wonderful condition. Again, more to come in the Toppers Unite thread.

    Post New Hats Here!

The second of the three items; a Henry & Co Top Hat: I've not been able to find anything about this company. Interesting to see the size is mentioned on the sweat. You don't often see that on a Top Hat, especially in English, US, and French sizes. More to come in the Toppers Unite thread.
