I think that looks pretty great, personally. But contrast isn't always what you want, either, so I get it. I also like gold on black quite a bit. Black does go with a lot of colors. (And, well, that's dark seal, as you say, but it's still pretty close to black. Probably more apparently seal...
That thing is riddled with mold. Every one of those spots. It's garbage. Maybe it could be treated, if caught early but it looks already half eaten, and I wouldn't want to let it inside the house to spread to the rest of my collection. People who sell things like that are about a step above...
Sweet, this is so helpful.
Along those lines, it would also be nice when searching the ready-made jackets if we could select multiple categories. Eg, stock, blue label, militaria, apprentice, etc. I usually just want to filter to my size, and I would like to see anything available in my size...
Man, for years it seemed like everything that came up for sale was a Large/42, lately everything seems to be a Small, 38, or 36. I wonder what drives such trends.
The Aero website should, too. I know they are aware of the problem, because I brought it to their attention in another thread. Hopefully they will have this fixed shortly, but it really shouldn't take long to make a correction like this. It's definitely going to harm their business in the short...
I've tried wearing shoes with leather soles before, but I find the lack of traction to be a major drawback, so I haven't worn any enough to wear them through. I don't think I could get used to it. But I have had boots with rubber lug soles rebuilt and like anything else they do wear out with...
They do have boots in other leathers, so maybe you could buy something in a leather that is less creasey, and then exchange for what you really wanted once you get the size dialed in.
They run true to size. If you order your Bannock size, assuming you have a medium width foot, you should be good. They have fit advice information on the website and you can ask them questions.
I might try again with a half size bigger, but as strict as they are on returns, I'll be a lot more...
I've been seeing some emails I've sent to Aero bouncing back undeliverable. I hope your IT staff can get the issue sorted out. It would be a shame to have the new website launch ruined by communications problems that prevent sales or otherwise spoil the experience.
Oak Street Bootmakers Trench Boot size 8 natural Horween CXL horsehide $400
Really well made, beautiful boots hand made in America by artisan cobblers.
New in box, complete with bags and everything. These have been worn for all of 20 minutes indoors, with no more than 25 paces in them. The...
The original run was supposed to be 50. I think I've also heard 60. I've never been clear as to whether it was altogether or 50/60 in each size. Again Schott would know.
These are the tags on my CX113 jacket. Yours are a little different, which makes me think it might be a different jacket than I thought. I'm not sure but I think Schott did a run of brown 1928c jackets that looked similar to the CX113, but were NOT natural CXL FQHH. Schott can likely tell you...
Hey, man, nice Schott.
It looks like it might be the CX113 special edition collaboration with Context. If so, that's natural CXL leather. I'm not sure about the numbers on the tags but they'll tell the story if you ask Schott.
