    Old gas stations

My uncle told a story of one of his coworkers who bought a new Mercury Marquis in that time frame. It had every available option and he was very proud of it except for a realy annoying rattle in the drivers door. It rattled while driving and when you raised and lowered the window. He took it in...

    Families of the Lounge

Obviously 2 sweet tempered and patient ladies. I'll leave out long-suffering. :p

You know you are getting old when:

Americans don't drink anything but coffee and tea warm and sometimes not even that. They may also have heard about your Lucas equipment. :p:D

    Golden era food.

Like many things in the world of processed food, you just have to block out what's between the crusts.

So trivial, yet it really ticks you off.

I have a bunch of old news broadcasts sponsored by Dr. Cowan the friendly credit dentist. Open evenings above the Owl Drug.

    Golden era food.

I picked up on it last night and started to reply but chose to hit the back button and let it pass. I wont attempt to claim the high ground though because I'm starting from the bottom of the hill. :p

You know you are getting old when:

Air conditioned along with "fire proof". I wonder if anybody really thinks about that now. There were several horrible hotel fires with large loss of life years ago.

    What's For Breakfast...

^^^ If you eat ALL of the cold pizza again I will end you. :D

Ridiculous. I don't know what else to say that conveys sufficient disgust.

Vintage Things That Have Disappeared In Your Lifetime?

There have been several incarnations of cheese in a shaving cream can. Kraft has one that they call Easy Cheese. A similar thing that I have not had for many years is a cheese product in a jar called Cheese Whiz

Loved the show. Beautiful jacket. Unfortunately Dennis and I are far apart on the size spectrum.

    This or That

I like them fine. I consider chocolate covered cherries a fine indulgence from time to time. Just not with ice cream.

    Vintage Cars

If you don't spend it somebody else will. I have decided that if it won't cause financial hardship and I really want it after thinking it through, no impulsive foolishness, then damn the torpedos.

Vintage Things That Have Disappeared In Your Lifetime?

There is from time to time a bit of it here only because a few of my wifes recipes call for it. I ate far too many Velveeta sammiches as a kid to willingly consume it as a stand alone snack.

    This or That

The second. Continuing with hot dogs. Boiled or grilled?

    This or That

No cherry. Vanilla, chocolate or some other flavor? I know, this, that, or the other.

Vintage Things That Have Disappeared In Your Lifetime?

I've thought that too, but hadn't figured out why. The newer plastic wrap stinks too. I'm sure it's cheaper for them, but it tears when you try to unwrap it.

My mom wouldn't buy Kraft singles because my dad didn't like them for some reason and they were too expensive. Cheese at our house was Velveeta.

Vintage Things That Have Disappeared In Your Lifetime?

I may possibly have knowledge of it being applied to the exhaust manifold of a certain tyranical high school teachers exhaust manifold, which was a compromise over the original idea of putting it in the defroster vents.
