    In the old days when the hat co's started making thinner hats the bound edge gave some support to the brim. Today with so many choices I think its a matter of style and what you like. :)

    Akubra Fed: Carbon Grey

    Shrink in. Every Akubra I have ever bought was to big at first and I used foam behind the sweat band but in a few weeks as I wore the hat I had to remove the foam. I wear a size 59cm. Yours will fit fine in a few weeks I'm postive.:)

    I try not . If I see a fellow lounge member I won't bid but with 1550 of us now I can't remember every name! No, I have never had a problem in 5 years with Hammersnipe.:)

    To keep the prices down don't bid till the last few seconds of the auction. If you bid before all you are doing is bidding yourself up! If I see a hat I like I put it in my "Items I'm Watching" on Ebay The snipe program is good if the auction ends in the middle of the night or if you are away...

    Hat Box source

    Try I bought about a dozen hat boxes at T.J. Maxx . Heavy cardboard with a cord. I think I paid around $5.00 each.

    A nice look! I have a camel colored fedora with a dark brown ribbion I think it would look great with your coat. Optimo in Chicago made it for me.

    Try our own! If you want a Bogie hat that you can wear for ever I would give Art Fawcett a call at 1-888-270-3954. He can make you a custom for a little more than factory prices. He is a excellent hatter.:)

    Push from 7 1/8 to 7 1/4?

    I have found about 90% of all hats unless custom are not sized correctly. Get the seller to measure the inside of the hat for you. Better to be safe than sorry!

    Speaking of Art Fawcett I usually let him pick my ribbon since he a Artist!! So far I have been very happy.:)
