    Art Fawcett hatter I spoke to Art and he can build that hat out of beaver or rabbitt fur felt. He is a nice guy and would never treat anyone badly... He told me $185.00 in rabbitt or $275.00 in pure beaver.

    Hat cleaning done right

    Sounds like the hat was "powdered "to even out the color. Cheaper hats do this to make the felt look better. I've seen the modern Stetson hats do this...
