Thanks guys- I trimmed the sheepskin along the joint and that helped, but I'm not at all satisfied with the the results. I don't know why the first sleeve went so quick and smoothly and the second turned into a major PITA. I was up until about 3 last night working on it. The jacket is back...- fishmeok

Restoring of old jackets
I think if you do a good job restoration is not a problem, particularly if it's an unpatched A-2. I think the only problem would be with jackets that have a known operational history and provenance. I think I was watching that M-444 too-but the chest measurement just seemed too huge to me. I've already started in on the B-3, took off the cuffs and opened up the arm seam so I can re-do it properly. The construction is very simple, be interesting to see if my machine can handle the fleece...- fishmeok

This is a good example of the perils of sniper programs. I put this on my sniper list on impulse a while back and forgot to remove it later. I won the auction. It's a US Authentic B-3, size 44. It must be an earlier version as it looks completely different than the one they currently...- fishmeok
