Thank you, Shirin! That means a lot to me since I'm trying to grow out the obligatory mummy hair cut I got shortly after I had my daughter. When you're used to longer hair, pin curls, and up-do's, it's hard to feel comfortable in a "pob." :eusa_doh: Won't ever make that mistake again... -

Yay for good hair days! Not overly done, but as I'm in the process of growing out a bad hair cut, I'm happy about today. :rolleyes: Basic pin curl set, brushed out and pinned up on one side. -

Very true. I've kicked around the same area of Houston most of my life, but luckily the opportunity arose when I got a new job many years ago and no one knew of me. It was a great way to ease into it. With that came more confidence to use it in social situations and in making new friends. Now...- Lenore

Does anyone use a name that's not their own?
I know the feeling well. Throughout High School we kept the same Homeroom classes and they were done alphabetically by LAST name. Between Ca and Co there were 4 of us. I think I could count 20 someodd Sarahs in my graduating class. *sighs* Is there any wonder why I go by Lenore?- Lenore

I think it would depend on the person. One of my bosses calls me "babe" and at first I was very put out by it, until I realized he calls EVERYONE that. Me, his adult son, his male business partner, etc. I just think it's his way. That and we're in Texas, where it is not uncommon to hear...- Lenore

What is your favorite red lipstick brand/shade?
Okay, ladies, I'm in love... beautiful, complimentary, easy going... and cheap. I'm in love with a drugstore lip liner. The brand is called Prestige, which I found at my local Walgreens. The shade, appropriately enough, is called "Amore." It's a true red, which is so hard for me to find... -
