Good riddance to vintage things that have disappeared in your lifetime
The 8-tracks you can have, but the influenza outbreak of 1918 may have saved my Grandpa Mike. He was called up in early 1918 but couldn't go because he was too sick. He was called up again in November 1918 but (obviously) didn't go anywhere. I'm surprised no one has mentioned pay toilets...- 1961MJS

Hi Somebody should work out a count, but I'm pretty sure that MASH went on far longer (in air time) that the Korean War did. Jeez. Didn't Hop lips get married twice? In a year and a half war. I've watched one episode of Seinfeld three or four times. I miss Emergency, and a few others.- 1961MJS

Hi Jimmy Heileman's is the name of the company that produced Old Style. Old Style (not a personal favorite) is their better beer. Joseph Heileman's Premium beer is the nasty stuff. What cigar (or pipe) did you smoke today?
Hi A shade Quorum Torpedo. Quorums are inexpensive short leaf cigars, but the torpedo shape, cut close to the end keeps them from unwrapping. Not bad for under $3.00 a cigar. Later- 1961MJS
