well I haven't yet tried this...but it has crossed my mind to get a US Army tan canvas belt and bleach it, then maybe touch up with blanco (kit whitener) if results are patchy But don't blame me if it ends in tears- nightandthecity

LVC 1937XX redline 201s
unfortunately these are too big for me, but here's a free advertizing plug. I've owned or sold hundreds of vintage and repro vintage jeans and I'd say the 1937 201xx and 501xx are the finest jeans Levi ever made. Anyone hate the Federation??
I've always worn vintage hats but of late I've been considering (shock horror) a modern one. The federation looks good on the website...got a proper leather sweatband and satin lining. But what's the felt like? Is it fur felt? Do they shrink? Any advice much appreciated- nightandthecity

30's~40's Work Boots
work boots I can get real drooley about proper work boots....I think I might have some sort of fetish. Here in the UK several companies still make mens boots to the same patterns and quality as 60 years ago...they are expensive but a pair of classic veldtschoen or welted country boots from one...- nightandthecity
