Classified Rating System is Broke and Being Abused

Oh.... Yeah 'sage, I had been noting someone one-staring your classifieds some time ago. I thought to be an obnoxious counter irritant and began to five-star 'em all just to be contrary, as I think you are right. Whomever this Summer's Eve disposable is, they should realize it only draws more...

Looking for 7 3/4 Hats To Buy! (what are you willing to sell me?)

I would go with Akuba then. They have many dress styles and with your size needs, vintage is just out of the question. Good luck.

Looking for 7 3/4 Hats To Buy! (what are you willing to sell me?)

D bar J Western Cammo Fedora I have never seen felt this tough. It makes an Akubra (something you should consider as the US greenback dollah bill is kicking the AUS $ arse!) look like a butterfly's wing. This is the stiffest, most robust felt I have ever seen. It's likely OSHA approved for...

BROOKS BROTHERS panamas on ebay. (new)

FWIW this guy accepted my offer of $40 shipped. Nice enough loose brisa, cloth band. Nothing special, but it keeps the sun off, eh?

OTHER THAN eBAY Hats: Victories, Defeats, Gripes & Items of Interest

Yeah... kinda' a sobering thought that, if my info is correct, this is a 9o year old hat. I don't expect to see 9o. At least not in "open crowned" condition! wooooo :eeek:

OTHER THAN eBAY Hats: Victories, Defeats, Gripes & Items of Interest

Thanks, hats. I was thrilled. The condition is as new. As to color, I attempted to correct it in photoshop but still have fallen short of its actual color, which is a warm, warm brown. Root beer, I guess might come close. :p As to the reed being indicative of age...I dunno'. [huh] Does it...

OTHER THAN eBAY Hats: Victories, Defeats, Gripes & Items of Interest

Loewe hats Snagged this last week on etsy. I can find precious little info on this maker & what I seemed to have found is a closing date of 1926, making this the oldest in my collection!:) The felt can't be over 1/8" thick, the hand is incredible and condition is MINT! Can anyone tell...

Thanks Fellas Yeah, it was pretty sweet. The felt on the Dobbs version is like fine chamois. I can't wait for this one! I'm chuffed! It still even has the feathers. Oh, and it is the Stetson Tijuana. Stole this from one of ya'll, Alan maybe? Thanks Alan!

Stetson's version of the "Gay Prince" I nailed this one right out of the chute this afternoon. A Stetson Gay Prince. Does anyone recall what this model was called? Was this "the Robin Hood" perhaps, or was that another manufacturer?

    Seen this yet?

It has sort of a tubular triangular paddle shape on the opposite side, to hold & stabilize the brim. It looks like the answer to what many have been axin' for, so thought I'd pass it along.
