Welcome aboard, fellow Belgian!
The A-2 is a perfect fit, IMHO. I like the A-2 on the short side, way more practical when sitting in a car/aircraft. Seems that you'll also be able to layer a bit underneath, which is not a bad thing at all.
Bought mine on Amazon about three years ago, and still going strong. It WAS a good beater watch, nice submariner homage with the great Seiko NH35 movement. The general concensus was that it's one really great watch at an affordable price.
Noticed I said "WAS"? Yeah well, that's because all the...
Congrats on the new jacket, Sloan! I, too, am somewhat jealous of the ability you have to almost walk next door to try these on, though I think I'd break down pretty easily living that close to Aero and not being able to buy everything I want!
And the mug has been ordered already... :p
If it's just for travelling, not trekking or anything like that, in mild weather, I'd take one of my every day jacket. So either my Alpha L2 or my Aero A-2. They both provide enough space for what I carry (cigs and phone in the jacket, keys and wallet in my pants pockets), are lightweight and...
Love the black leather / brass buckles combo. As long as you're comfortable with it, go ahead!
This could also look awesome with plain black t-shirt.

Folks, I recently bought a work shirt reproduction from Pike Brothers, and am wondering what kind of braces color would go with it, apart from black/dark grey.
Here's a picture of the shirt, from the website:
Seen the shirt has thin vertical stripes, I recon solid colors would be preferable ?
It's an available product. Thinking about it, I realised the balm may have a stronger scent than what I first thought, it's just that I got used to it really quickly. If you absolutely want a scentless one, I think you'd better keep on looking.
The Reuzel beard balm does have a scent, but it's on the pretty light side of it. Maybe you should give it a try?
Like you, my beard is somewhat bushy and kinda "flowing in the wind". I tried a couple beard oils (too scenty, not really effective), beard foam by Reuzel (pretty good for keeping...
