Thanks, it was given to me by an antiques dealer about 40 years ago. Finally it has shrunk to my size. Perfect for a costume party... pimp, Etc., a bit hairy for a regular wear -

New 'royal quality' stratoliner. Despite what I heard, It's fine to me. One wonky stitch on ribbon and maybe a bit stiff, but not for long. I'll get my money's worth for sure. -

Here it is opened up. There are no stamps on or under the sweatband, which is very thin leather with a silk backing. It also has a very thick raw edge on a 2 1/2" brim. Thank you -

Royal quality may be the low end, but I'll get a lot of wear from this new caribou. Maybe one wonky stitch on the ribbon, but it feels fine. -

I'm looking for some information on this beaver long hair. Absolutely pristine! Must be 100 years old, last reference to the maker I saw was in 1915 American Hatter. It was a center dent its whole life, but I recently re shaped it. -
