Odd vintage from custom hatter Buffalo NY

You may have seen this on evilBay. I think they were quite correct in stating it was 7 3/8... now however it is a solid 7 1/4 and small tears and nicks in the leather of the sweat make unsuitable for a robust stretch it would need to recall 23". Obviously not meant to be a folder, though it...

OTHER THAN eBAY Hats: Victories, Defeats, Gripes & Items of Interest

I have a hat on the stretcher right now (by a hatter whose name mustn't be uttered, but rhymes with Had Gatter'). And hell's bells we are in straw season now. Although I plan to wear fur felt all summer. And little else. if the Aussies can do it, we should!

LION BRAND 7 3/8 Cowboy hat $30 shipped

I NEVER should've bought this but I felt a compulsion to have a LION hat. Well this ain't it! I need more of a dress than a working weight hat. 3 1/2" raw brim and 7" (6" as now creased) crown, cellulose vapor barrier, no sweat or wear or bugs evident. Spot- on 7 3/8. Just looking for what...

...yeah, as it is a current production model I DO think it would have to reveal any/all fiber content. We'll see.

WHAT DID I JUST GET? ...it's a BAILEY from their "BREED" line and ID'ed as a 100% "fur blend" by which I hope I can safely presume there is no wool used. Does anyone know? I have found Baileys current "Breed" offerings but this is not one of those. Any ideas fellas?

POSSIBLE HATBAND? Info given is 2 1/2" wide 29" at its last hole. I think there is adequate room on the straps to bring it in enough to use it as a hatband. What do ya'll think?
