Thought for sure this would be snapped up already. For reference, I wear a size Large in most shirts (button down and tee), 42-43 suit-coat, and 33/32 in Levis. 5'11" about 190-195lbs (depends on how many cookies I ate this week).
$725 shipped if paid f/f via PayPal.
Can you confirm the chest measurement? From the pic (very hard to read) it looks like the tape measure is over hanging on the left side by at least a few cm. Even if it's right on, the right side appears to be at 57.5cm which is 22.68 inches.
Thanks!
For sale: Limited edition Cycle Champ leather jacket made by Vanson for the Harley Davidson Museum. This is made from the now discontinued X-150 leather with plaid lining. Beautiful jacket, just don't wear. Size medium (please review measurements below as it fits more in-between a medium and...
Sorry, was a way for a couple days... just jumping back in. I've slimmed down a touch (about 190lbs), so I'm about a 22.5-23" pit-to-pit. My only jacket currently is the limited edition Vanson Cycle Champ made for the Harley Museum. It's size Medium with a pit-to-pit around 22.5-.75". It sounds...
Interested in purchasing a Vanson Chopper (or Paul Cox custom) in size large or 44. Or a Vanson Mohawk in size large. If interested in selling please let me know.
Thanks!
SOLD! Exclusive international market only Red Wing Heritage Beckman Boot with "Flatbox" toe in Black Klondike leather. Size: 10.5D. The Klondike leather is a black teacore, meaning that as they wear brown begins to show through the black. Made on Red Wing's #8 last (same as standard Beckman and...
I gotta vote for the Vanson, likely because I'm lucky enough to own one. Almost impossible to find one now. If I'm not mistaken, they're made from the now discontinued X150 leather. Very cool jacket. They do run big as I originally got a Large but exchanged it for a Medium (I'm rarely a medium)...
The difference in sleeve length is exactly why I asked. 3/4" shorter sleeve can be the difference between a good fit and wrist bones sticking out. Thanks.
Can you post pics of the added pocket and replaced zipper? Also, since you stated that you took the measurements from Thurston's post, have you verified them by taking your own? Images of measurements always help too.
John,
I appreciate the info/thoughts. As I stated, I’ve owned other engineers and due to the shape of my heel the slip never really goes away. When I had a custom pair made by Wesco years ago, after measuring my foot (in-person at Wesco) they recommended due to the shape of my heel that I stick...
They’re good both length and width wise. I just find slip-on boots awkward to walk in given they have a bit of slip in the heel compared to lace up boots. I simply don’t like that feeling. Thought I’d give it one last try with a really nice pair, but ultimately they’re not for me.
