Thanks Moon! When you do get a Cav ( and I have no doubt you will) I think you will find it to be an incredible example of the craft of fine hat making. Nothing else I have in my collection has quite the same feel .
This one is mid to late 1940's. Green with a purplish ribbon. the original owner didn't wear it much judging by the condition. 2 1/2 inch brim . It came with a center dent... I didn't have the heart to change it so I just reworked it a bit.
I've purchased several hats from Dinerman. No complaints. He always starts the bidding low and describes the item in detail. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to buy from him.
