A good looking jacket and you certainly can't beat the price. I like their leather choice...nice character.
I like the ELC jacket as well. Originals are awesome, but being at the top end of the scale (46-48) the pickings are pretty slim.
My Foster ELC is still one of my best fitting jackets...
Those vertical things are dangerous...trust me. ;)
Thanks Rocketeer! I recognize the concept but didn't know what they were called.
Being scolded for being off topic?
Now that really puts the quince paste in my Jammy Dodger! :D

It was a cooking show and I think they were speaking literally. They were making some kind of layer cake.
In the US however, we haven't much in the way of quince; and jammy dodgers are clearly some kind of English sponge cake Twinkie-like things that we don't have here either.
The whole...
She really puts the Quince paste in my Jammy Dodger.
I don't know what that means. But I saw it on a cooking show and have decided to use it whenever I find the need for a particularly British aphorism.

Sweet! Thanks Carrie. I need to put a new jacket on hold for a bit, but I'll be looking to you guys when I'm back in the market.
Who knows, I may even get something other than a G-1! ;-)

Thanks Mike. In that price range, the 100 Mission is definitely my favorite jacket. And I don't usually like antiqued clothing.
Love to see some pics when they arrive.

That is a good looking jacket!
I know what you mean about making your jacket yours. However, the Cockpit 100 Mission is actually different goat from that on their mil spec jacket...at least the last mil spec I saw a few years ago. It's heavier and more substantial with I think a surface...
Sorry to hear that Hawkflyer. Having seen some recent pics, I would have said that the Excelled appeared to be a good looking jacket.
The Cockpit looks to be a decent jacket, though the corners of the pockets always turn me off just a bit. I'd also consider US Wings which seems to be well...
Well, I sent an e-mail to Jacky and no reply after a couple of days. Of course, she's probably off doing something, considering her position.
Unfortunate though, since I was hoping to send this off now that jacket season is over.
