Straight out of the box I can say that the fit and feel is perfect. I usually wear 38 with Aeros but because of the slimmer fit I went for 40, with added width to the shoulders, 1" off from the hem of the jacket and 1" off lenght wise. It is unlined, and not sure but i think it's just used as a handwarmer pocket for the passenger. It is between the leather and the inside lining of the jacket. The rest of the pockets are lined with heavy moleskin.- North_Star

It isn't longer than the usual cross zip. It might appear so on the picture of James Dean because he's wearing a really high rise pants. But i would say it should sit right over the belt.
