That's what I thought, but @TREEMAN seems to think otherwise. I think we are talking about -15f in a normal day to day life, not some northpole expedition. But of course if you are going to stand still for hours in -15f weather then that isn't enough, infact nothing but fire will keep you warm then.

It will probably straighten some folds and creases at first but after awhile the quilted lining will compress in some parts and the puffiness will fade. If I were you, I would go for it.

Someone somewhere asked pretty much the same question about the linings, and if I remember correctly Holly from Aero answered and said that the cotton sateen should be as durable as the cotton drill lining.
I would choose the cotton sateen if I were you.
It is the perfect fit in my opinion. All you need is a real pair of high-rise pants/jeans. I think if you wear this style any longer than this then the proportions will be off.
