Yeah pretty sure if there is slippage from the start it will be with you for life man. My favorite pair of boots (currently) are vibergs, where my left is tight to the heel, and my right will slip. They are just hitting that nice broken stage and certainly no change. Custom boots, but a...
I tried one last month, I considered sizing down on it. I'm a 40cafe racer, tried a 38 b6 that I thought fit pretty close. I'd prob still order the forty for comfort though

I agree, I have a few cheaper denier leather jackets for different occasions, one beloved jacket that resembles an aero plainsman in brown that is at the end of its life...
I live in vancouver, where it hangs in the 40's in winter, so I'm hoping I can get a fair amount of use out of the fqhh...
Good to know, seen posts of a few older aero cafe's, their back design seems to have changed some.

Yeah I've read quite a few people have issue with the weight. I personally found it slightly restrictive, but love the feeling of how substantial the jacket is.

So Carrie/thrustons were great, helped adjust lengths which I wouldn't have figured out over the phone! Now I'm down to the finishing touches. I've decided on no wind flap, center button collar design, two chest pockets...not sure on angle. I'm not sure if I want the back changed, I really...
So I went through Carrie, with thurston's, and tried on a few today. Went really well, love the look of the board racer, but the cafe just fit so well. I've decided on fqhh in brown. I was worried about the weight and stiffness of it, but upon trying it, no problems. Close second was dark...
