What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Rocking the "Black Bear" fur-lined Langlitz this morning. Just arrived last night. I'm blown away by the condition. I did some research on the name in the pocket, and it was made for a Harvard Botanist named Herman Roydon Sweet from Medford Mass. He had this made in 1963. First Langlitz I've...

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

@dudewuttheheck I am in awe of the power of your tightly wrapped nuts; this has been a fun morning sick burns and dickbags. Far less venom than the Himmel thread, and none gets hurt (other than @Flem, who seems like a dork anyway...) (Also for the record this is a great fit, balls and all!)

I'd be all over this one if not for an utter lack of any further jacket money this month.

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Seconded. If he's enough of a pal to borrow your vintage Cal for the afternoon, probably enough of a pal to lay it on him. It's a very gentlemanly move in fact.

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

In my early days in the Navy, we would always use "Port Names" when we went ashore. "Herman Sweet" would have been perfect!

    Help with a Ladies Jacket

I struggle with this too as I 'd love to get my wife something better than she has leather jacket-wise. That said if yours is anything like mine, I would take her somewhere to try some options before pulling the trigger. Sometimes I think I'm close, but there is some detail that is important to...

After long negotiations with the seller, I just pulled the trigger on this bad boy this morning :) F%% you Canadian winter....I win. 1963 Fur Lined Langlitz Columbia. Not 100% if it's Horse or heavy Cow, but the pictures have me leaning towards Horse. Looks to be in nice, clean, original and...

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Red Label Cal on it's way from Gwen at Cal Leathers who did some minor repairs. Probably just a pit stop for this one, but I can't wait to handle it in person.

Just when you thought you had seen it all . . . (Warning: Not for the fainthearted)

That's actually perfect for my friend.....

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

My sen My sense with my limited experience with Cals is that you want a snug fit or be left feeling like your wearing a box.

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Man that jacket continues to fit you better and better as time goes on. It looks like it's been yours forever. Kind of hard to think of another jacket that would be better really. I think you ought to get caught out in the rain a few times maybe, but other than that it's a bespoke fit.
