    Good choice, contacting someone who deals with Hanna Hats regularly for their suggestion. I'm size 60 myself so, based on their chart I'd order "Large" because I prefer loose over tight. Also, with a cloth cap if it's too big I can always sew a piece of elastic into the back of the "headband"...

    I don't own any bespoke/custom caps, so until that happens my Hannah Hats caps are my favorites. As Drzdave58 mentioned in post 3,036 above, their fit and quality are better than that of any of my other flat caps. When you finally get one (or more), I don't think you'll be disappointed.

    Just in case anyone hasn't heard yet, Barbara Walters has died at the age of 93. Most reports state that she "passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones", but no official cause of death has been stated.

    Someone tried to explain this to me once, but it was so modern-day dumb that I've forgotten the details.     Currently watching The Mummy Returns from 2001 starring Brendan Fraser, Rachel Weisz, and Arnold Vosloo in the titular role. More fun than scary, I kinda' like this brief return to the franchise.

    ^ This. I got my first Akubra, a Fed IV (standard) in dark brown, in August of 2008. As you can see in the photos below... ...it hadn't changed much in it's first decade of service, and it's still just as good nearly five years later. I haven't worn it in a while so it could use a good...
