Those types of strips are excellent for French manicures - Not so excellent for half-moons, in my experience. They leave a sort of bar across the nail, instead of a moon shape.
Has anyone had success with them? I could never manage it.
You need some mousse to smooth back the sides (She almost always did that.)
Your hair is also too straight - Audrey's front hair was probably long enough to set in small rollers, but not her whole head. If you're using a flatiron, turn the heat down, and use it to curl the ends. You might...
Visiting a dog breeder a few years back, I used an outhouse quite like hers. It really makes all the difference lol
The child at the Christmas tree! How sad!
Not a frump in sight, LaMedicine :)
Great topic, Paddy. Trinny & Susannah's Undress the Nation did a show on Age. They took a bunch of frumpy old ladies and made them look fabulous! It's one of my very favourite things they've done - Really takes the fear out of getting old.
I believe...
Christy: I sectioned off the bangs exactly as in Fleur de Guerre's tutorial, and set 3 rows of 2 sponge rollers, slightly on an angle, like this:
Sorry for the intensely juvenile diagram. lol
The extra roller sitting on the forehead I stuck there because there is usually a few...
Can one or two beers make you that inebriated? Or is the owner's inventory extremely incorrect? If either of those possibilities are correct, they are certainly far-fetched... He must have been plastered when he broke in.
Does he remember any of the events in question?
I will say "no problem" to someone if they thank me multiple times. I suppose I see it this way: They want to be absolutely sure I understand how appreciative they are, because it's a big deal. If I tell them it's not a problem, they can relax a bit :)

6 - man vs. self

This thread has the potential to become a huge argument.
Gilbey, you may not agree with smokers, but nobody has the right to preach. Yes, we know it's a health disaster; Yes, the government is pushing people to quit; Yes, it's baffling why people start smoking with so much knowledge - But...
The derivatives you speak of are probably in such minute quantities that you'd have to ingest the entire amount of dye every week for a year to get cancer from it. Lighter shades containing bleach have been "linked" to cancer too - so has henna, and the pigments themselves. Hell, walking down...
MarieAnne, my bangs are to the tip of my nose - about 6 inches.
Antje, analeibe, cherry lips, and Small Town Girl- Thank you very much! :) I'm blushing...
Why aren't you a model, darling? ;)
This 'do is a milestone! Its my first time with Grable bangs, and the first time my hair has been long enough for Victory rolls in 400 centuries. Plus, the bangs are more Barbie correct lol
Antje, I have red hair too - I'm pretty sure there are brown ones, but in our case the blonde seems to work best.
I saw them in the As Seen on TV store yesterday, and was really tempted....
