I need to get pictures........saw a real nice fur fedora and a couple of straw fedoras at an art show this past weekend in Springfield. Saw some trilby hats at the convention (Lions Clubs) and the awesome open crown early 60's Playboy my friend wears about. It is a hat I found in a retro shop...
THIS great hat arrived for me while I was gone......a Stetson St Regis in a unusual DARK grey. Mid-50's it too is in awesome shape and came in it's original box. This one was sold at the Stetson Factory Store and priced at $13.50. Sweat is dated 1956! Has the windcord like the nicer ones did...
Ok......picked up this piece of fine trade bait this past weekend, now you 7 1/4's please do not wet your pants like I did when I first saw it......before I realized it was a 7 1/4 (I wear a 7 1/2 lo), but by then it was too late, pants were wet:eek::rolleyes:;).
This is a simply awsome 50's...
I am in love with this one.....and while I do not have an old double 8 gauge to go with the hat like his.....
I DO have a double 10 just like it!;)

Wearing them around for a while will probably settle them on your head. Start out with the spacers, and as they tighten, remove the spacers. With daily wear this process will go quicker than you think......
