My guess, it's a Alpine or Tyrolian hat, maybe made in Germany. Habig or Peschel etc.... It looks like Sichel Hair ( longer fur felt! ) -

HT, Borsalino means for a lot of sellers, the style of that hat! They have heard, that Borsalino is kult, and every one know what it is! The best is, if the description is not clear, you must ask before bidding! -

Sorry Historyteach, I am unable to read, the liner print. But it looks like a no name Brand or a retailer shop brand. I am 100% agree with Steve that is from the 60s or later and it's not a Borsalino! -
