Underrated in their appreciation by the listeners of today; the masses. Rarely, if ever, have I heard someone who did not grow up listening to them, mention CCR as one of the great acts of their time period. :D
A number of nights back: a few Fogcutters. Last night: a few Grey Goosed based beverages. Tonight: a few Angry Orchards and maybe some sort of whiskey based beverage(s).
:D
And that is an aspect that gives promise to the show. It is what made the first episode more han just a superhero show.
:D
Where concerned with Luke Cage: don't forget his shiny metal head gear. Style over comfort.
We really enjoyed Hell or High Water. We saw in a pretty much empty theater which is always nice. Top to bottom we thought it excelled. No need for special effects and fast and furious out the wahzoo, just great dialogue and interesting characters. Just all around great. One of the best...
I agree that the cinematography is a strong point for both shows. I have read a lot of really nice reviews for Jessica Jones and believe that it will get better. Too often, the first episode doesn't do it for me, but down the line when evrything jells and as I become vested in the characters...
It was okay. We will most likely watch another episode as quite often the show/cast has yet to jell by the first episode. The acting was fine. The plot was entertaining. I liked the direction the story was taking. Yet there was something missing. I feel like I should have liked it more...
The first episode of Jessica Jones
and
the first episode of Narcos.
I really enjoyed Narcos. Nice pacing, acting, and storytelling.
Looking forward to another episode.
