This summer it has been my practice to start the grill for breakfast or in preparation for an afternoon feast. Continuing that practice this morning I started the grill in preparation for some beef short ribs. I am enjoying a Modest Brewing Co pilsner. This Minnesota brewed beer is a golden...
Good Sunday morning. I had to run an errand and selected a Fox Brothers wool check Cordova Cap for the task.
I added an "under brim pic" to the collage pic above to showcase a "smaller" draped cap. I see by many of the shared posts that "smaller" drapes are popular with posters. I do...
Yesterday afternoon I was out and about in a Stetson Mode Edge. This new to me hat is not a Mode Edge anymore. Sometime in it's life the "Mode Edge" was removed and a binding edge applied. Glorious felt and ribbon work regardless of the edge alteration.
Sunday morning I went on a walkabout...
Bill I do not have a special retailer. I do purchase beat straw hats at the local thrift shops just for their pugs. I have found some real treasures this way.

That hat is plain cool. It has all the desirable features. The felt, hue and unreeded sweat make it spectacular. I do really appreciate the venting on the hat. The cording is not something I have seen a lot of and it works for this hat. Congrats on the new hat!
I tip my brim...
Thanks. I did pick up the bands from Sunbody when I last ordered a couple hats.

Stay cool and be safe folks.
Yesterday afternoon I enjoyed some Stella Artois pilsner. This morning I have enjoyed some cold brewed Costa Rican coffee and a breakfast beer. The Surley Saber Tooth Tiger is a hop forward American IPA.
Cheers, Eric. -
