Home last evening in 70+'f temps. I have warm weather fatigue. The warm weather had me reaching in the beer frig for a Surley Supreme (pilsner). The slight grapefruit taste was the right taste for the warmer evening.
Cheers, Eric -
Good morning. I woke up early to nearly 70'f temps. A VS straw fedora was my choice for morning walkabout and coffee.
The temps are 20+ degrees higher than "normal." I have warm weather fatigue. Later this week we will be back to "normal" and the felts can be more easily worn...
Warm weather will be back in my neighborhood for a few days. This morning a walkabout and morning cold brew under the straw brim of a PHD fedora.
Puttering about under the brim of a Solar Straw "made in New York" "Genuine Panama." Love the vintage ribbon work on this straw.
Cheers...
Rick; I read your comment about what to wear with green and I checked over the last 12 months or so to see what I wore. Yup, neutral colors won the pairing contest.
In my case, I showed my wife the pic collages l;ast night and she reminded me that I wear neutral colors mostly. She has a...
For National Drink Beer Day I went out with some work colleagues. A Dangerous Man Peanut Butter beer was my choice to celebrate. It is a robust porter that has the right, a milder, dose of peanut butter with some chocolate hints. It paired with a 1/3# burger and of course in MN french fries...
Yesterday a gray wool cap was my choice. Often simple is the best.
Today a Fox Brother's Polo Tweed cap is just the ticket for gallivanting about.
Cheers to all cap folks, Eric -
It was steamy at work today. When arriving home, I quickly drank a couple mugs of water and poured a beer and headed out for a soirée. The evening cooled quickly and the Surley pilsner hit the spot.
Cheers, Eric. -
Cheers this morning. I took a morning walkabout wearing a Stephen Stetson. An excellent hat that needs to get outside more often.
Home for some cold brew coffee I changed my hat to an Adam with a green felt.
I headed out to pick up some groceries and I changed to a 30's spiral...
Cheers to all.
Yesterday I enjoyed a Surley Pilsner Delicious (bottom right), this morning a cup of Volcanica Brazilian single origion and grilling some buffalo sausages to go with breakfast a Surley Before I Die lager.
Best, Eric -
Thanks for the hat compliments and likes folks. I do read the comments, but with the site speed so slow I have chosen not to post individual replies. It is my problem - too impatient.
We received 2" of rain last evening. Cheers! An early morning walkabout in the damp weather had me wearing...
An Archer, Well Dressed Head cap, was my head gear yesterday.
This morning I was wearing one of the first Cordova Caps I picked up. Love this cap.
Cheers, Eric -
Thanks for the hat compliment Nathan. I do like wearing unlined and lighter hats during early Minnesota Fall. After an hour+ soirée through the wooded neighborhoods on a morning walkabout I do need to wipe the leather sweats of my hats. Truly 60'f weather is still warm for me. My fav season...
Our "Fall weather" had me wearing a straw (PHD) yesterday after and evening.
The Minnesota morning found the low temps at 59'f (15'c). A fedora worn during my morning jaunt was perfect. I chose a Stetson Stratoliner in Cadet Blue.
I enjoyed some Costa Rican single source coffee...
