Tomorrow - at the official Liberation Day - WWII ace Kaj Birksted will finally be honoured - and about time - when a statue of him will be presented in The Churchill Park at The Museum of Liberation in Copenhagen.
(In the park is allready a staue of another danish WWII hero:

Tonight - 65 years ago came the mesage from BBC, that the nazis in Holland, North Germany AND Denmark had surrendered.
Thank you to all the Danish women and men who fought - and died - for our freedom.
Thank you to all the women and men in the allied forces.
Tonight I will once again follow...
Love it! My wife and I actually bought the entire series on DVD and truely enjoyed seeing it again.
It could have been done differently today, better in many ways - not so much studiowork and what have you ....but the story and the characters still hold up!
I need some help here!
Got this invitation to a party (in London).
It says "Black Tie 1920's / 1930's".
In my book a Black Tie is a black tie - or was it any different in the roaring twenties and thirties?
Is it OK to wear a pocket square matching the butterfly - or is that totally out...

But being the son of a man who fought in the resistance against the nazis, I find it very hard to accept the facination some people has towards SS, wehrmacht, luftwaffe and...

I mean, what did she expect - should they ride bicycles?
lol
Don't know if I understands you right, but are you looking for refference pictures - or are you looking for a place, where you can actually buy all the stuff. And do you have some uniform part allready?
The easy way out might be going for a US pilot.
That way you might get around it in a...
What a shame - but then I am even more happy with mine.
