5'11'' is a very good guess :)
It gets a little tight in the shoulders with a jacket underneath. I recently bought a nice tweed jacket and it's a bit too much under the Barnstormer. Feels cramped. So I go with a Barbour wax coat instead on top of the tweed :) Very British. But a more...
I have a slightly modified 30s half belt from Aero in kudu. This one is made up of a bit odd pieces and is quite heavily scarred. Aero called it battle scarred! :D:D
It is soft and sort of spongy, but very comfortable.

Is it too much? Nope! This one also gets a lot of wear in the winter. My down parka has been almost unused for the past two winters.
Just came in from a walk with the dog. It's snowing and blowing outside. Guess what I wore?
This is me going out to barbecue in about -15...
Mine gets a lot of use from maybe September to April - May. Here it is after two years of wear. Don't mind me looking a bit stiff. It's difficult enough to pose for someone, let alone yourself...
The coat is in mid-weight oil pull horsehide.
Could maybe be one size smaller, but I...
I'm also curious about the mildew. Would it just wipe off or need tougher cleaning? And what about the very light patch under the letter M in Margo? How would you restore that?

It has been quite cold here in the mornings until recently, so mostly I've been wearing this. A Barnstormer in mid weight oil pull horsehide I spotted on Aero's sale site about a month ago.
This week it has been a bit warmer, so I got to use my Eastman A-2 in goat

Hi,
I got an Eastman B-3 .50-CAL in March: http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showthread.php?62825-Waiting-for-my-Eastman-B-3-.50CAL
I'm very happy with it! I really like the worn look. I don't like the shiny look of the horsehide on the regulars, at least not the ones in the pictures on Eastman's...
Hi all. I just joined the Barnstormer owners club :D I managed to get a oli pull horsehide sample coat at a discount from Aero. Should arrive next week. Unfortunately it won't get to much use before fall, but still hard to wait :)

Thanks guys! About the warmth. I was a bit worried beforehand that it would be too warm to be practical, but it turned out to be just fine, at least based on my first walk with it yesterday evening. Like any warm winter jacket it felt ok in the beginning and after a while I started opening the...

Hello all!
This is my first post to the forum. I've been reading the forum for a while and am amased at how much detail information you chaps have on WWII clothing! Now I'm starting to be interested...
So, I was planning on ordering an Eastman jacket next fall, in time for winter. I was...
