That's a blog I would read. Actually I went to Sutton Hoo earlier this year and the house had a few old boys own annuals there, I was tempted to stay and read for a few hours but my family would not have been happy.
I assume you put your name down for the next batch she has?
What a sad waste of our history, the inspiration for Ripping Yarns sent the great waste tip! You should scan and share young man.
That takes me back! I had one years ago as youth and goodness knows what happened to it, although I still have the sheath, it is in my tool box in the garage and you have just reminded me about it.

Nice knife Renault.
My favorite knives, the little brass and rosewood handle lock knife has suffered a lot of abuse and been a real great little tool and still going strong. The bottom right is a Alan Wood bushcraft knife that has a 10 year waiting list, I have had mine about 6-7 years.
My new pith helmet following my family vacation to Florida, OK so it's my cars pith helmet ;) I meant to get one years ago when we stayed there but I got this and an Indian Jones fedora for my car last month!!!!. Pleases my little mind anyway [huh]
I would have all three, TL,TR, BL :D prefer the TR tan but would agree with Old Sarge a light green is better these days. If you are after a look just think canvas, leather and brass and clothes in muted colours.
