    Send it back. Imo no point in owning a jacket you can’t close. All the other proportions look perfect. A size up may look sloppy. Might just not be the jacket for you.

    I agree that it’s a fun project and looks sort of cool. However, I’d seen the pockets VEB did when he made them and my question was why? My life already has so many pockets I can’t keep track of which i put things in. Also, many pants are already difficult to fit over boot shafts.

    NEED ADVICE: Iron Heart Deck Jacket Vs. Real McCoys Deck Jacket

    I’ve owned both. Imo the rmc looks better but the ih is more robust and better constructed. Warmer too. I’d decide based on which measurement works best. You really can’t go wrong with either. Super versatile piece.
