Darn cold this morning. After morning grocery and hardware store errands I enjoyed a Guinness outside. After some outside chores I started the grill to prepare some buffalo sausages for breakfast. A Surley Supreme was a grand choice for the warmer -9'f(-22'c) temps.
The local birds have...
Wind chills make it feel -2'f (-17'c) this evening.
Brrrr.... I am not taking my cap off to showcase the innards. Below is an older pic.
Cheers to all, Eric -
I wore the following caps the last couple days.
A Cordova paneled cap.
This morning's temps have now raised above 6'f (-14c). A Filson Mackinaw cap was just the ticket.
Cheers, Eric -
Thanks sir. This is on of the Hurley Hat Shop (Canadian made hat) finds. It is minty and a superb example of the Premier line.
Your milk chocolate Whippet is for the dogs! Grand hat.
Randall, while the Whippets have varied in quality over the years they have retrained the same side...
Yesterday evening my normal, Surley Supreme was just the ticket for a cool walkabout.
Tonight I felt like a Founders Breakfast Stout. This Imperial Stout has the extra hops and grains to produce some big full bodied flavor. It has a 8.3% abv.
I really enjoy this coffee, oat and...
A morning Walkabout in a Stetson Premier.
Sipping my morning coffee under the brim of my Whippet Wednesday contribution.
Cheers from under gray skies in my neighborhood, Eric. -
I am sharing a collage of Saturday's Green Spot soirée, a couple of cold brew and a couple of Surley Supreme pics.
Saturday night, I poured a dram of the Green Spot after a 13 hour work day. It hit the spot! This single still whiskey, Middleton Distillery, is distilled in copper pots...
Today was a fuzzy wool day. The Casentino wool was the perfect choice for a light snow and cold day/evening. The very dark blue hued fabric pairs easily.
Cheers, Eric -
I too use tissue paper, white paper that surrounds gifts. I use a rolled up one under the cap in front, over the brim. This rolled paper keeps the front of the cap with a minimal crushed front and gathering of material that continues down to the snap. I do not open the snap when storing. A...
I wore a Misto for this mornings walkabout.
I enjoyed my morning coffee wearing a Whippet. This $11.00 sage green hat is pristine clean, but shows it's age with patina.
Cheers on a Monday, Eric. -
The canvas cap is a terrifc cap for an adventure. The canvas appears to hold it's shape well. I do like the proportions of the cap. Flattering.
Grand cap. Sunshine has indeed been scarce. Cool and almost no snow is the forecast.
Your pics do showcase the soft fabric. Looks comfy. A cap...
Good morning. Yesterday's walkabout was taken under the brim of a Gannon Playboy (silverbelly beaver felt).
The day found me wearing a Gannon Wanderer (steel gray with chracoal trimmings), a VS Executive (blue mist beaver) and a Gannon Wanderer (granite beaver with charcoal trimmings)...
Good morning. This morning my walkabout is under the brim of a green hat sold at Hirsch's out in the eastern US. This is a minty Adam hat with a unique ribbon treatment.
My coffee adventure this morning was under the brim of a Lee Adventurer.
Cheers, Eric. -
Thanks sir for the cap compliment. The Fox wool pattern I selected from the fabric tab of their website. I really like the trad patterns they make and sell.
Yesterday I wore a different Fox Wool patterned cap. This houndstooth pattern has subtle color hues in the pattern. I like the hues...
