Just picked up a gorgeous Vanson CHP in chocolate brown with removable fur collar. It's a tank. Love it. I had been eyeing off the Vanson chopper for a long time, waiting for insurrection to get their stock, then out of nowhere I had an opportunity to get a mint brown chp in my perfect...
Yeah, I was thinking that....I got a quote from a leather guy in Melbourne to dye a white perfecto for me, it was going to be cheaper to literally buy a new brown jacket........
Hi guys,
I have. Cafe racer that is way too big. I want to take it around across the chest and waist. Is this able to be done and look good, or am I better off selling it and starting again? It's a 52, but I want it closer to a 48...
Thanks for my help.
G'day guys, I'm trying to better my knowledge on the history of leather jacket design...specifically, motorcycle jackets are my thing. I've seen a few titles by Rin Tanaka that look very interesting. Is there a " gospel" of mc jackets that I should get? It's my first time buying a book on the...

Butte,
I reckon the Vanson hides are as tough as any. Despite the fact Vanson are a pain in bot bot to deal with, their leather is undisputed. Interesting point about the seams, but I think the hide alone would save your hide, Id be more worried about making sure you have gloves on, decent...
Shizer, that IS a heavy duty jacket, looks the business mate. I would be throwing myself off the bike at the bituman for a laugh. Good job! Keen to hear how it breaks in....
