    I have problems with whole wheat- it upsets my stomach. And I am lactose intolerant but did not know this 'til recently. Since I stopped eating dairy my clothes fit me the way they should due to less bloating!

    I have just started buying vintage lamp bases and would love to see pics of what you have and also how you coordinate differing lamps in one room, if possible. This came with a fiberglass shade but I put it on a newish floor lamp I have. The owner at the yard sale said it was from the 1940's...

    My reasons now are different from when I started this thread last year. I'm very happy with my weight now. It's actually a health issue. The night, after dinner, is when I eat too much junk.

    Every year I forgo the out-of-doors for the TZ marathon, although I do eat BBQed steak and lots of junk food while watching it. :) Just letting people know about the Sci-Fi TZ marathon!

    I just wanted to add that I have never asked any of my guest to dress vintage. And like some of you said, it's not so much that I have a vintage theme party going on; it's just how things are around here, and more so each weekend when I return home from yard sale-ing. :D

    Manners can be taught, or not. Courtesy comes from character and compassion for others. That is sorely lacking these days and can only come from within and needs no instruction manual.
