Aero jacket weight
Anywhere from 4.5 - 9 lbs would be a basic range. However these days, most HB's are in the 4.5 - 6.5 lb range. I would also reccommend Vicenza Horsehide, or "Soft Midweight Cowhide" if weight is a concern.- AeroFan_07

For insight into this, ask an actual, working cowboy why he never takes off his boots, even sometimes while he sleeps. I'm a "hybrid" in this area. Danny - I have Wesco Mr Lou's right now (12D), along with a pair of 12D John Lofgren's. The Lofgren's run wide, so I have to double-sock them to fit.
