The felt on this one looks really nice. I think there is a post in one thread or another that says that they changed the name from Knox to Charles Knox sometime around the mid-60s. As far as I know there was no change in ownership, so most likely just a marketing thing. Michael

What Hat Are You Wearing Today 1?

I like the flat brim on this one too. Seems to work with the crown shape. And it does keep the sun off. Thanks Stefan. It served it's purpose today and kept my head dry in a total downpour that I got caught out in. I think it benefited from the wash. Super looks again. Both fine hats...

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Thanks HM. I'm a fan of both longer and shorter jackets. And very much longer leather coats too. The pants are Duluth Trading Co Firehose Canvas Pants. https://www.duluthtrading.com/store/mens/mens-pants/86125.aspx?processor=content Not sure if that link will work or not. Nice pant with...

What Hat Are You Wearing Today 1?

One does have to learn not to lead with the brim. You start knocking things off of shelves. Ha ha. Your Mirtillo looks more blue than my Mirtillo. Great looking stingy in any case. Thanks, Michael

What Hat Are You Wearing Today 1?

It's the standard 4" brim, but that's a lot of acreage when you lay it out flat. The crown is maybe a bit over 4 3/4 with a sort of telescope crease. Michael

It is pretty cool. I think I have two of these $10 hats, if I recall correctly. That Knox is one fine looking hat, Red. Thanks Stefan. The Leo may win out in the beauty contest, but the Biltmore takes it in utility. The Leo can't go biking with me while the Milan can. All gems, as usual...
