Jimmer, been trying to PM you for advice re some Nomad engineers I'm keen to order.( your box is full)..Im wondering how they would come up in either natural or brown CXL...I wish whites had a few more options, buckle colour, strap length....I really like your collection...
Hi guys,
I got a message from Pete at SW Chunkies. They are in the midst of pretty bad flooding at the moment. His two workers have flown home for an early holiday. He is still operating, and it just takes a bit longer at the minute to get things done. I waited about a week for an email, he...
Excellent feedback guys, much appreciated. I ordered a sunburst from thurston last week. I wasn't too sure re body length..I let Carrie do her thing. Being in Australia, the only aero I've handled and actually seen is my letterman jacket I picked up on eBay. Once I get mine from Carrie, it will...
Yep...trying to visualize what a 2 tone pair of nomads will look like with Whites strange policy on Nomads...anyone care to do a photo shop of the way they agree to do it?
Thanks guys, very interesting. The more images I'm able to find, the more the teamster is really growing on me. It's more fitted than I initially thought...I guess the weight isn't a big thing, and I've read on here, that leather doesn't actually keep you too warm, more to do with lining...
Hi guys, I'm interested in a slightly longer length jacket.something that sits a bit below the hips. Can anyone shed some light on this question...the long half belt and hercules...are These similar length? Also wondering how they then compare to the teamster?
If I was to get something like...
I quite like it. There's enough other designs to choose from if this design doesn't feed your bulldog. I have the Schott"a2" with the double use pockets, and I just see it as part of the design, and they come in quite handy in my opinion.
Did they have sales or anything? I've ordered a custom Chopper a few weeks ago, not sure how long I have to wait, but I'm very excited. It's hard here in Australia, we miss out on all these things....I've seen a chopper in real life, but have a fantastic chocolate brown CHP which I love.
Hi mate, there is a site called the tannery or something, that sells Horweens...I think Fanch a member on this site has done it. I sent a few emails to them when I was getting Johnson's to make a jacket( Alan at Johnson's is a tremendous man to deal with), however, they never replied to any of...
Great stuff Jimmer. Sums it all up...can't quite decide between nomads and Wesco...been changing my mind every 5 minutes... Prefer the entire whites line up, but have seen some cracking Wesco.
With the Nomads, to go two tone, the way I've read it, is that the entire top half of the boot, strap...
Bizarre. I love traveling, domestically and internationally every chance I get. Love it...would probably own a few more jackets and watches by now if I didn't keep hitting the highways or airports...it ain't cheap.
Cheers Dickie, I have taken a life style change away from a suit and am back into my old career running pubs. Steel toe is handy rolling kegs around etc...celastic will prob be enough as I am definitely trying to avoid that look with the toes. Thanks again for your help mate.
Thanks Dickie..if I order composite or steel toe, I can claim a decent portion on tax as a safety shoe for work...I also ride a motorbike, so as long as they don't look too puffy or goofy in the toe, I can justify the steel or composite toe..
Does any one have any pics of natural CXL boots with some wear/pAtina?,,I've also been told that CXL isn't as tough as the smooth hides when it comes to Whites..can anyone shed any light on this?thanks.
Hi guys, re celastic toe box. Am I right in thinking if I order boots with a steel or composite toe, I don't need to worry about a celastic toe? I want some nomads, but am first putting an order in for some bounty hunters...I've never ordered custom boots before, and am a bit confused. Thanks...
