A Message From Aero Leather USA

It's best to work these things out privately to a satisfactory conclusion, rather that air a matter in progress. I'm sure all will be well, as the overwhelming majority of members have had superior experiences.

Boy that was a long Data base error.

We were as nervous as a long tailed cat in a roomful of rockers. But all is well now.

    O Brother, Where Art Thou?

Something like... "We needed to eat up that horse. It was startin' t'turn." "And stay out of the Woolworth's!" "That Preacher Man just done warshed away all of my sins!" "Friend, your foldin' money's come unstole..." "Are any of you boys smithies?" :Hell, it ain't even old timey!"...

Myths of the Golden Era -- Exploded!

My grandfather used to say that during the Great Depression, "No one was making anything, really. Even if you had a little money, there wasn't much to buy. And no one had any money, because we weren't working as much as before and were paid less anyway. It was a circle. There wasn't a lot to be...

When did the time change originate? Why do we still do it?

We've set our clocks forward an hour. Again. Where does this come from? Why are we still doing it? And which time schedule is the original, "correct" one? Changing the clocks twice a year seems like a long way around the barn to remind us to replace batterie in the smoke detector.

Time Marches On: Except in the Field of Cosmetic Surgery

I wonder why it is so very obvious when an actor has had "work done" these days? The Red Carpet at the Oscars last night was populated with formerly beautiful faces now wrecked by bad surgery. I understand that their profession demands youth and beauty. But does it? Surely not like this...

    Harking for a simpler time.....

As Lizzie expressed far better than I can, that's not so. Many of us have direct, first-hand knowledge of that world, especially those of us who grew up away from urban centers, where the 60's looked very like the 40's. And we knew those who were adults during the 20's-50's while they were fit...
