The strangest thing about the OR that I picked up is that the felt is Royal DeLuxe like the Premier Strat and Premiere Stetsonian, but has little to no stiffener in it, so it is flexible. No floppy but definitely not rigid like modern OR. -

Premiere Stetsonian that I stumbled upon at the outlet in Garland a few days ago. I've studied this hat and cannot figure out why it was sent to the outlet. I just couldn't pass it up. Just a simple dry crease for the time being. -

Here is Stetson Stratoliner prototype that I got at the outlet in Garland a few days ago. It was on Matt Deckard's Tumblr feed a few weeks ago. Blue with tan ribbon and bound edge. Never had a blue hat and have no idea what to do with it! -
