Here is my recent acquisition, a 50's Kitten Finish Beaver 20!!!!....REALLY GREAT SHAPE......6" crown.....BUT.........had the brim trimmed down (would have had a felted edge and 2 1/2 to 5/8 brim) at sometime to 2":eek::(

Circa 1935..photo postcard....slightly trimmed..From my collection....a "rum bunch"...as the Brits say...noted on the back that the sender had to "perform Surgery" on the card to fit it in an envelope;)....
Uncharacteristically for me (I only own 2 caps).....this Borsalino cashmere 8 panel.....I have to be outside for funeral services and it is VERY windy (25-30 mile winds with 60 mile gusts). So this hat is FAR less likely to blow off my head!!!!
