The single midsole with high heel look is more period accurate, I posted a Lee engineer somewhere, it looks just like the 100th anniversary. But, plenty of double sole versions exist back in the days.

In that case I recommend Red Wing (need cushy insert), Whites, and Wesco low heel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

In short, this pair fits like Red Wings engineers. It’s D, although I need E in their current boss, for these I can do D. Hugs my instep just at the right spot and lots of toe room. Heel is high to get used to though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

one main factor would probably your spinal health, :) do you have lower back pain? do you have bowed out legs? do you have anterior pelvic tilt? these physiological conditions/characteristics would come in to play big time when it comes to heels..

good timing, so, the pair of 100th anniversary Wesco that came in today has a "vintage" heel height, which is 1.875" tall measured at the highest vertical dimension. Unlike my previous Wesco boots, which have 1.75" and even lower heels. At 1.75" and lower, you stand and walk very "flat", you...

I had two pairs of Attractions. If it’s not for the sleek look, I’d never go back to them because there is something fundamentally wrong about the heel construction. Simply, it’s not balanced (longitudinally/front to back), when you walk and land on your heel/tarsal, the heel sends a shock wave...

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

The RW B3 seems to have a thinner/pliable side strap, they fold outwards in your photo. The straps on B3s at the waist are super thick so I would never picture them bending Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    FS: Penny’s horsehide flight jacket

This is the jacket that Eastman based their Air Comfort on, well, a very common design. Johnson relined, pocket and reinforcing stitching done by me. An easy to wear, short jacket. The back is 24”, but the front is low enough to even cover the Jean belt, very interesting fit as if it has an...

FS: Aero Leather 50s Flight jacket Harris Tweed

Blue Harris Tweed lined custom order jacket, black jerky horsehide, size 44. Barely worn. The body is shorter than I had wanted. Otherwise very sharp, importantly, you CAN easily out both hands in the side pockets, which says a lot about the mobility. Shoulder 20” Pit 25” (hence explains the...
