Wasn't there a member that posted here, not too long ago that he struck the grosgrain gold mine? It was like the Johnnyphi of ribbon, so to speak?

I unfortunatley had to try this on my Parabuntal, but I have to say it worked great. I used the one for wood,(yellow) because of the straw color.
Gene, do you use the clear silicone, in the squeeze tube?

Unfortunately I have to try this on my "Parabuntal", I noticed a small crack starting at one of the creases on top. I hope this works. :eusa_doh:

As far as the flanging goes, with some great tips by TonyB and Bruce, I was able to iron it flat, trim it, and then I put it over the...
I did think of that jimmy, only because I had black only for the binding. It would've looked great that way, but the blue I had wasn't the correct type of grosgrain too do it. [huh]

I've been wanted to try and make a custom fedora for myself for quite some time now.
I can definitely say I've been inspired to do this after seeing TonyB's and Stoney's work. I couldn't have never in a million years have done this project without all of their help. I can't thank them enough...
