These are normal signs of light wear for CXL.
You can clean leather lightly with a damp cloth, it is recommended to do it in areas where the skin touches the leather, back of the neck and wrists to avoid long term damage. I do that every few months on my most worn jackets.
The jacket you posted...
Like super thick deer.
Same hand, same wet blanket/neoprene diving suite feel, but with a ridiculouse thickness.
I think it is like 3mm thick or something like that.
This thread probably has the best Moose pics:

Also good pics...
I sure didn't miss that one....
It's not really a jacket i would have considered buying, the Peacoat isn't really my thing, but having handled @red devil 's moose Trojan i just had to get it.
Might be worth mentioning that i always wash jeans solo/duo.
I put one or two pairs in the washer at a time and that's it, nothing else.
I can imagine how in a packed machine the fabric would rub on itself a lot more and marks might happen.
I use the 15 min gentle quick wash and only spin at...
All i have are 5 pairs of Iron Heart of various thickness, the oldest pair was bought in 2013, the youngest in 2017.
I wear jeans everyday, and will pick which thickness depending on current warmth, in summer i wear 17oz, in winter i wear 25oz, in spring and fall i wear 21 or 23oz.
All that to...
I would be up for that, if anyone in the EU wants it at a lower price and the seller is ready to refund me partially so that i break even or close to it i would be happy to ship it on to somebody else.
I will happily take more pictures representing the condition of the jacket better too.
I trusted you to describe the jacket correctly and here we are, you are now asking me to trust you again, with the possibility of losing money and jacket...
You are now technically buying the jacket back, why is it a problem for you to pay first the other way around?
So, to try to settle this matter, if i accept your offer of a refund of the jacket + return shipping, how do we proceed?
I am not ready to ship the jacket back before i have the money back on my paypal as i have no way of knowing you won't disappear with both money and jacket.
Are you happy to...
I didn't ask for anything because as soon as i mentionned the probem you instantly accused me of suffering from buyers remorse and offered me 35$ which was laughable.
I sent you the picture, you answered:
"Having served in Special Forces, I can attest that these kinds of repairs were...
It's not about getting it repaired or not.
I spent 1000$ including shipping on this jacket, this was fair if it was in the condition it was said to be in.
In the condition it is actually in i would be lucky to sell it for 500$.
I could lie about the tear and try to make my money back, but if i...
The first message i sent you was after having a quick glance at the jacket when i unboxed it.
I only noticed the signs of wear and the damage later that same day when i got to properly look at the jacket and fully inspect it.
When i mentioned the problem you offered me 35$ which is nothing, you...
Gift makes no difference, in the Uk for example:
"Goods sent as a gift that are over £39 in value are liable to Import VAT. Customs Duty also becomes payable if the value of the goods is over £135."
Edit: in Belgium the max value for a tax free gift is 150eur. If you refuse to pay import tax...
Be careful with declaring lower value when shipping to the EU.
The parcel can be stopped by customs, and they can ask the receiver of the parcel for a proof of payment that matches the declared value.
It has happened to me twice, once in the UK, once in Belgium.
Luckily both times the declared...
Hi,
Fully agree with @Monitor, i have never owned a FC but have handled a few in shops, the leather is definitely not 2mm thick.
They are nice jackets but what i tried on never made me want to take my wallet out.
If the reason your are into FC is the 2mm claim you are going to be disappointed.
I am not sure what your Humming implies, but I have no interest in arguing with you, i just wanted other members to be aware of the condition of the jacket you shiped so no one else would get burnt like i was.
You can claim ignorance all you want, it doesn't change anything.
@warrior-poet i didn't
No comments have disappeared, these were private messages.
I didn't make any judgement of character in my previous post, i just mentionned the fact that i had received a damaged jacket. Whether you knew about it or not is really irrelevant to me, either way i was sold...
