Original WW2 " Hartmann" or cycliste jackets were never black, but dark brown.
Furthermore original WW2 Hartmann jackets had only one single panel back. NEVER split back panel.
ELC jackets are quite good in this aspect, especialy the revamped brown ones.

Eastman jackets and GW John's Jackets are the finest regarding research of authenticity.
This redying is a nice try, but the undyed are still more "genuine" IMHO, plus the extra- costs ( surely justifed in aspects of extra work, handling, marketing), are putting this jacket in an edge only a few...

Did not Aero have a problem with some of his staff stealing or copying models / patterns and reproducing them und a different brand but using the same jackets , I saw a thread on this somewhere here a few months back.
The "borrower" of the patterns , here not of the trade mark, surely did a lot...
