    found these incredible wind-sculpted snow drifts along a rural Iowa road today. I really didn't want to get some artsy-fartsy shot out of it so I put my shadow for a bit of humor and to show the scale of the drifts.... [/IMG]

    Thanks, Chasseur. It's an easy set-up I have so it's nothing to turn a couple switches on, put the camera on a tripod and hit self-timer. But for some reason the photos look sort of pixelated on this website. Maybe it can't handle black-on-black. I just saw the weather and the low's going to...

    'Electra Glide in Blue' (1973) was on TCM early this morning. The ending of this film has always stuck me since I saw it last many years ago. I'm glad I caught it today.

    None are really my style. The JPL one has some curiousity about it, though. It says 'JPL Mariner' and the initials 'li.' Was 'li' a company involved with Mariner? It's probably mid-60s.
