This will probably add to the dilemma but one lesson that was learned from Japanese beetle traps that used pheromones was not to set them up in your rose bed. The traps are intended to draw beetles and so people were winding up with full traps and a full rose bed of beetles.

Here you go with some more details. The sweat, binding, ribbon and liner are all in beautiful shape. The felt has a few moth grazing areas but no holes all on the underside of the brim. I did some brushing and it brought up a nice nap to minimize the areas but a light sanding and/or more...
